Celebrate with us on October 14th!

The Claremont Chorale is inviting the community to celebrate their 50 years of singing together at a fundraising dinner and silent auction to be held October 14, 2017, 5:00 - 8:30 pm, at Taylor Hall, 1775 N. Indian Hill Blvd, Claremont.  Tickets, $60 per person, are available online at www.claremontchorale.org. With limited seating available, guests are encouraged to purchase their tickets early. 

AS THE EVENING UNFOLDS

After thoroughly browsing — and bidding on —the tempting offers of the Silent Auction, guests will enjoy a delicious buffet dinner, catered by Gourmet Gourmet, with a cash bar.  Reflections of the Chorale’s past, through photos and music, will cue still-fresh memories.  A photo booth with funny costumes gives new friends and old another way to remember the evening.  And of course there will be music!  And poetry! And congratulations:  to a few hardy souls who have sung several decades with the group. Hear the Chorale’s history through the eyes of one member — Stuart Oskamp — who has sung with the Chorale 49 of the 50 years.

ABOUT US

The Claremont Chorale is an all-volunteer, SATB community ensemble, with 60 members from the Pomona Valley communities.  Singers are selected by audition, and volunteer their time and talent. Directed by Greg Norton for the past 25 years, the Chorale performs a diverse repertoire of music in ticketed concerts. This season’s concerts include the ever-popular Christmas carols on December 2 & 3, Handel’s Messiah on March 10, 2018, and a retrospective-themed concert May 19.
